It is for the 20th anniversary of the sinking of the RoRo ferry Jan Hewiliusz, where 55 people lost their lifes.
Sunken vessel/chimney symbol I guess.
I am a seaman myself. 🙁
This is a large monument for seamen lost at sea.
You can see the green hedge, along which many plaques are mounted.
