When you arrive to Hammerfest you see the church tower immediately. Opposite the church lies the cemetery that goes with it. A surprising amount of 18XX birth (and death) gravestones, all very well maintained, as well as the ground itself. Hammerfest Church from H. In the back you see the avalanche protectors on the mountain Died 5.12.1880 Hard to read, and very old, all 18XX Not stone but metal (iron?) German last name, Was Conrad an immigrant (or immigrants child maybe) who got married to the Scandinavian Aase?… Lots of seamen and sailors, fishermen on the coast of Norway, naturally.
