When you arrive to Hammerfest you see the church tower immediately. Opposite the church lies the cemetery that goes with it. A surprising amount of 18XX birth (and death) gravestones, all very well maintained, as well as the ground itself.
Last weekend we went do visit my great grandparent´s grave at the Nienstedten cemetery in Hamburg (Wikipedia, also available in English, but with much less information). This graveyard has been opened in 1814 and since been enlarged 11 times!

We did not have time to walk over the cemetery, as our tour guide had made this an extra stop (thanks!) to visit the mausoleum of José Martí and witness the change of guards. Then back to the bus again
