Nothing I like to look at. But.
This is a part of the cemetery with about 3.000 Russian and 300 Polish soldiers who were killed in action in spring of 1945. Their bodies were brought here from various surrounding places.
So very young. My father is born 1925 and was pronounced dead during WWII (lung and head shot). After half a year only his family learnt he was happily alive and a POW in the UK by then.
His brother (my uncle) had died in the war before, aged 21.

Upon finishing this post I realize that war cemeteries make me very sad.
While usually I very much enjoy strolling through cemeteries, beautiful and peaceful, sometimes green, quiet areas in a city.
